Olga’s Health Food Market at the redeveloped Capri On Via Roma is the perfect place to pick up your vitamins, health foods or your freshly made organic juice. There are no bright and shiny surfaces here. Instead the design is like the health food on offer – raw and unadulterated. Everyday materials and finishes are used from plywood, galvanised iron sheeting, to recycled timbers and polished and coloured concrete flooring creating a warm ambience. Simple plywood cut-out graphics on blackboard panels and industrial high bay pendant lights and black powder-coated proprietary display racks add an industrial and well worn feel to the design. Signage such as ‘FRESHTABLES’ for the organic vegetable area and ‘RAWSOME’ for the raw, bulk food section adds a little of bit of fun. Who says healthy food has to be boring?
